A big thank you to Class of 2024 for planning a wonderful Red Wagon Luncheon this year!

Thank you to our members, sponsors, and guests for the diapers collected for Fall Layettes and the money raised for our programs. A big thank you to the event chairpersons, Ann Marie Jablonowski, Georgette Horlamus and Chris Velker. We could not do what we do without your generous support and our sponsors, especially the LaValley Foundation for their generosity and Hafner Florists for the wonderful centerpieces! THE RED WAGON AWARD

This award is presented at the Red Wagon Luncheon in the Fall of each year. The award honors a CCS member who has made a significant contribution to our CCS Toledo chapter. Karla Lewis was honored with the award this year. Karla has been a CCS Toledo member since 2018. She cotinues to her dedication to the underserved children of our area by creating our hygiene program, chairing Celebrity Wait Night, and chairs the Community Outreach Programs. Karen Merrels, Karla’s mother, a member since 2001 was at the Red Wagon Luncheon to support her daughter. Thank you Karla for your endless enthusiasm and energy in our mission.

THE BARBARA SOMMER MEMORIAL AWARD

This award is now presented at The Red Wagon Luncheon as well. It is awarded to a new member of CCS who has exemplified commitment to the mission of CCS as determined by a majority of the CCS Toledo board. Ann Marie Jablonowski of the class of 2024, was presented with this award. She was one of the co-chairs for the luncheon and has jumped right into assuming some leadership roles for Christ Child. Thank you Ann Marie for jumping right in and contributing to our mission.
