THANK YOU - RED WAGON LUNCHEON 2023

A big thank you to Class of 2022 for planning a wonderful Red Wagon Luncheon this year!

Thank you to our members, sponsors and guests for all the size one diapers collected for Fall Layettes and over $16,000 was raised for our programs. Members and guests donated many diapers as well. A big thank you to the event chairpersons, Katie Schueler and Nancy Fordham. We could not do what we do without your generous support and our sponsors!

THE RED WAGON AWARD

This award is presented at the Red Wagon Luncheon in the Fall of each year. The award honors a CCS member who has made a significant contribution to our CCS Toledo chapter. Pat Smith was honored with the award this year. Pat has been a CCS Toledo member since 2018 and co-chairs the Clothe-a-Child and Layettes projects as well as Celebrity Wait Night. Mike surprised Pat by attending the award presentation at the Red Wagon Luncheon. Thank you Pat for your endless enthusiasm and energy in our mission.

THE BARBARA SOMMER MEMORIAL AWARD

This award is now presented at The Red Wagon Luncheon as well. It is awarded to a new member of CCS who has exemplified commitment to the mission of CCS as determined by a majority of the CCS Toledo board. Katie Schueler, of the class of 2022, was presented with this award at the October 10, 2023, Red Wagon Luncheon. Thank you Katie for jumping right in and contributing to our mission.
